Dj Reggae Ragga Dancehall
New Generation Sound was created in the year 2000 in Geneva, Switzerland by 2 people: dj Neecko and Seb. They start to organise their own dances in some small venues in Geneva so that people can know about the sound.
In 2002 the crew decide to split making New Generation Sound a “one man” Sound. From that day Neecko, dj reggae ragga dancehall, start to keep regular events in some different venues in Geneva and the sound start to get booked in Switzerland, France, Germany and Austria.
In 2003,Neecko organise a tour with the jamaïcan rising artist Zumjay and in the same year the sound is invited to open the show for artists such as Barrington Levy, TOK, Morgan Hertitage, General Degree, Buccaneer and StoneLove Sound.
In 2004, dj Neecko decide to organise a new tour with 2 artists : Zumjay and Alozade. This tour will be a real success for the promotion of the 2 artists in Europe, as they passed trough France, Austria, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Belgium and Switzerland for a total of 18 dates. The same year, Neecko will take part in 2 soundclashs :
- New Generation Sound vs. Freebass Digital (dj Neecko win)
- Swiss Dancehall Clash 2004 (dj Neecko 2nd out of 6)
In 2005, New Generation Sound will perform more and more, in Switzerland and in the whole Europe, In December 2005 Dj Neecko take part to the second edition of the “Swiss Dancehall Clash” and bring back the trophee to Geneva !
In 2006, New Generation Sound performed all over Switzerland and in Budapest, Hungary.
